Some conversations stay with you.
This is one of them.
When he first sat across from me, he was carrying more than the weight of work.
He felt responsible for his family, yet increasingly disconnected from himself.
"I know I need to work.
But I don't know what I should be doing anymore.
I can't earn enough.
I feel like I'm letting my family down.
I'm angry all the time, and I don't even know why."
He wasn't looking for a career.
He was searching for himself.
Over the months that followed, we questioned old stories, uncovered fears, and slowly made space for a quieter voice that had been there all along.
Then one day, he walked in smiling.
"The other day, while I was working, I realised something."
He paused.
"This is where I was always meant to be."
Then he said something I will never forget.
"Now I don't just want to live this. I want to share it.
I think what I've learned might help someone else."
We don't find our purpose.
We remember it.
